Channing Tatum confirmed that his stripper movie Magic Mike is up for a musical transformation and is heading to Broadway.
Magic Mike is about a professional stripper (played by Tatum) who works in a Dallas club owned by another veteran stripper (played by Matthew McConaughey). In the club, Mike teaches a rookie (played by Alex Pettyfer) to become one of them.
As stated on Tatum’s official website: “The show will be produced by Channing Tatum and his partner Reid Carolin, along with the film’s director Steven Soderbergh and co-producers Gregory Jacobs and Nick Wechsler. Songs will be written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, the creators of other Tony and Pulitzer-winning Broadway hits like ‘Next To Normal,’ and the book will be written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.”

The $7 million low budgeted film reached a worldwide gross of $160 million. Completing the cast are Olivia Munn, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Lindsay Lohan.
So brace yourselves as this is going to be a spectacular show, with dancing hot men showing some skin and sizzling opening numbers when the curtains open on Broadway.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old actor is set to serve as the voice behind Superman in the upcoming movie The Lego Movie.
Tatum, who enjoys a net worth of $50 million, is an actor, producer, dancer and model who is known for his films such as Step Up, Dear John, and The Eagle.
