In 2012, Jay-Z ranked 2nd in Forbes’ Hip Hop’s Wealthiest Artists in 2012 with $460 million. Diddy ranked first with $550 million.

Majority of his earnings come from the $204 million sales of his Rocawear clothing label in 2007, a 10-year $150 million deal with Live Nation in 2008, stakes in the New Jersey Nets, cosmetics company Carol’s Daughter, joint venture with battery manufacturer Duracell and his vodka called Armadale.

Armadale is a super premium 80 proof Scottish vodka made from distilled wheat and barley. It sells for $33.99 for 750 milliliters and has a clear bottle with black banner and a small red-plaid Scottish tartan design.
