His representative differed the news stating, “Allegations about DMX being arrested for drunk driving are false, He was arrested but quickly released. DMX was given a breathalyzer test and easily passed it. He is back at his home in South Carolina and we are continuing our focus on his upcoming album and acting roles.”
Prior to the DUI charge, the 42-year-old Year of the Dog MC already has records of reckless driving, drug possession and animal cruelty, among others. He has served seven months in Yuma, Arizona prison.
